I am an Enform Safety Instructor and the owner of Bullseye Safety Inc. I am actively involved in the community and I am passionate about Red Deer. I am a member of Rotary Sunrise, a local chapter of Rotary International. I served on the board of directors at Volunteer Central and I am an active volunteer. I enjoy good conversations about history and philosophy. I am politically active; I was a city council candidate in the Red Deer 2013 Election. My favourite hobbies are fishing and gardening. I am a father and a devoted family man.
I have 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. I started out as a rig hand on a service rig and worked my way up to derrick hand. After 3 years of service riggin' I got my class one and became a professional driver. I drove a tanker truck in the Fox Creek area for about 1 year. After that I became a measurement while drilling technician (MWD) and worked on drilling rigs all over Western Canada for the next 6 years.
I maintain a personal blog. Check it out: The Mindful Fisherman
