A more efficient way to receive your Standard First Aid
Blended Learning First Aid Courses: Blended learning a comprehensive training method that combines multimedia instruction with instructor-led and hands-on in class training. The successful completion of the blended learning Standard First Aid course is a two-step process.
Step 1, Complete the Online Theory: Completed through online based training structured in a self-paced modular format. The blended learning Standard First Aid course allows students to access audio and text instruction as well as instruction videos and quizzes.
At the end of each module, there is a knowledge evaluation. Participants must successfully complete the multiple-choice evaluation before continuing to the next module. Participants that do not achieve 80% can review the module content and try as many times as necessary to advance and complete the corse. Questions are randomly selected from a test bank, making each test unique.
Advantages of online training:
- Participants work at their own pace and schedule
- The courses are interactive and customized
- Participants have unlimited access for two years
- You can start and stop the course as needed.
Step 2, Attend In-class Training: Following the completion of the online theory, students are required to attend the in-class portion of the course. This is delivered by an instructor and the focus is on the practical application of the course content. At the conclusion of the in-class training, students write the OH&S approved standard first aid exam.
Advantages of the in-class training:
- Participant can ask an expert about any of the theory or hands-on content
- Training time is half the time of the tradition first aid course
- Classes are held at convnient times and locations
